Elementary Anti Bullying Program
In the Second half of this magical school anti bullying assembly, emphasis is focused on the students that are watching the bullying going on and saying nothing (complacent). One of the many problems is that the students being bullied just don't have the strength or courage to do anything about it. Therefore addressing the students that watch the bully and saying nothing makes them guilty (complicit) of the bullying as well. So educating your students in accepting that their independence is part of their responsibility to report the bullying in school, then this will help to stop fuel the bully and allow the students to stop being part of the problem and instead be part of the solution by speaking up.
"Best assembly I have ever been too, very motivational and very inspiring. Thanks for brightening our day and giving us a new outlook on life. Thanks for all the excitement."

It is my pleasure to write commendation on behalf of Jim Jordan.Mr. Jordan delivered a powerful and engaging presentation to a group of over six hundred junior high students at S. Bruce Smith School. The presentation, entitled "Independence Day", spoke to how students could establish independence and freedom by understanding authority, integrity and respect.Throughout the presentation, our students were focused and actively engaged. Mr. Jordan utilized a variety of strategies and skills that were entertaining and meaningful to junior high aged children. Both staff and students were positive and complimentary about the impact that the presentation had upon them. Mr. Jordan's message certainly helped to set the tone and direction for our philosophy of Culture of Caring at. S. Bruce Smith School this year!

It is my pleasure to write this letter in support of the anti-bullying program by Jim Jordan. "Stop Bullying" is an interactive program that was shared with our grade 5 - 8 students. Students were engaged in the presentation and took an interactive role in outlining the steps to take when confronted with a bullying situation. One of the main outcomes of the presentation was the strong recommendation that students take a pro-active role in addressing bullying by not being bystanders but rather by confronting the bulling by reporting incidents to teachers and administration. Jim provided concrete materials that were shared with the students. Bullying boxes and forms were shared with the students whereby students can report incidents without fear of repercussion. I would recommend that Jim come in to address this very important issue again at the school. Sincerely,
Christina Daly Vice Principal Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School, Oakville, Ontario

We were fortunate to have booked Jim Jordan for two presentations early in the school year. The initial presentation was focused on taking responsibility for our actions to enhance our freedom to make choices for ourselves. The second presentation was tailored to our grade 7 & 8 students and the skills required to enhance their transition to secondary school. Jim wove his natural speaking talents into moments of magic to draw out a point and to reinforce key elements of his talk. The students were motivated to listen and to respond throughout the presentation utilizing a number of effective techniques throughout the 50 min presentations. Both staff and parents were very impressed with Jim's management of the students and the clear messages of responsibility and respect that were his key messages. For any community that is endeavouring to address "bullying" within their school or may be establishing a leadership team, Jim Jordan is a terrific way to commence your efforts. We intend on prevailing upon Jim to speak to our children again in the spring. Respectfully,

Grades 4 to 8 (Middle School)
Let's Stop Fueling the Bullying Together!

The goal of our anti bullying presentation-program is: that as a result of their greater knowledge and understanding of bystanders behaviour, students' behaviour will change in these ways:
• fewer will join in bullying behaviour
• fewer will smile or show approval of bullying behaviour incidents
• fewer will promote the status of the aggressor or the target
• more will be prepared to express their dislike of what is happening
• more will volunteer information about what is happening.

Elementary students will be attentive with this interactive magical school assembly. By using a backdoor approach I will not preach to students but instead allow the students to lead themselves in self discovery to choose what is right and what is wrong and what to do when they see bullying or violence in school, on the school bus, or on their way to and/or from school.

In order to attack the bullying we need to build a solid foundation. Firstly, students will gain knowledge on how to accomplish independence by understanding responsibility, integrity and respect - directing them to earn the freedom that they all want. I will show them not only how to receive more independence but I will also show them how to act with this new found freedom.
Thirdly, implementing the "Report Bullying Ballot Box Program" into your school provides other options for students to get involved in reporting the bully without worrying that they too may become a victim.
